stuffed pig turned baby doll

This is a photo of a stuffed pig I've had for years. I wanted a new doll, so I used this pig as a base for a new doll. For the head, I put the pig's head in a bonnet and tied on a stuffed orange to act as the face. I put the pig in a pretty dress. I also put shorts on it and folded it's legs in the shorts. I stuffed some doll panty hose with doll clothes and put them in the legs of the shorts to look like doll legs. Then, I put doll shoes on the panty hose to make feet. For hair, I used these hair extensions made for dolls. I tucked them in the back of the pig's bonnet.

Cabbage patch mermaid

As a little girl, I've always loved cabbage patch dolls. I thought it would be cool to have a cabbage patch with fins. I've made several of these dolls, but they just never turned out quite right. Recently, I found a new approach to making this doll.
I took a cabbage patch doll and put panty hose over the feet and legs. Before I did that, I put a clump of doll clothes in the hose to act as the tail. After the hose were placed on the doll, I put these these fins over the tail that I made. Then, I tied them on. Then, I wrap the other leg of the hose around the waste and tied it. Then, I put a bathing suit top on the doll.
