'The mysterious celeste
Chapter 3 Celeste and the land of dolls
The last we left off, it was near christmas, and Mom and dad went shopping. In the last story Shawnalee, celest's creator, made an appearance. Celeste was in danger of loosing her magic at the time. But when Katie and Haylee saved celeste by convincing Shawnalee that she was an important part of there life. Shawnalee became friends with the girls. In this story, celeste takes the girls to the land of dolls, a magical land where celeste lives. It all began on christmas eve.
Katie and haylee got up that early morning. They had christmas to get ready for. They were so excited about the holiday. Katie got out of bed and went over to the doll shelf where Celeste sits when she is in a doll formation. She picked up the doll and held her close.
"Good morning celeste." Katie said. Haylee took the doll and held her. "Mary Christmas celeste" haylee smiled. "I wish Celeste could spend Christmas with us." said Katie. "I know." said Haylee. "She can't though." said Haylee. "Remember what she said? We arent allowed to tell anyone about her powers." Katie looked at Haylee. "But remember what Shawnalee said. We can use celeste whenever we like." Haylee looked doubtful. "Ok. lets let her come to life." Katie smiled. "Yes! Thanks girl."
"Ok, lets do what celeste said." Haylee instructed. "Lets hold hands and think really hard. Then, lets call her name." And so they did. Celeste began to glow. Then she was surrounded by a puff of smoke. Her body began to grow and grow. When she grew to her full size, the puff of smoke vanished and she stood inthe middle of the room. She leaned in to hug the girls.
"Oh girls! It's good to see you." Celeste said smiling. "It's good to see you too." Katie said. "why did you call me." Celeste asked. "it's christmas. We want you to spend it with us." Haylee said. "Christmas? You want me to spend it with you? Can I? I would love to. But what about your family. what will they think of me." They will love you" Katie said. celeste gave the girls a sad look. "What's rong." Haylee asked. "i don't know. I miss my home. I usually spend Christmas with my friends. "It's a lovely time of year." Celeste said crying. "this is your home. We're your family." Katie said. "celeste, are you lonely." Haylee asked. "Yes. I miss home." Celeste cried.
"lets go to my room." Haylee said. "I've got an idea."
the girls headed to Haylee's room and shut the door. Katie looked puzzled. "How can we make celeste feel better. This isn't her land of dolls. What is your big idea." "Ok. Why don't we take Celeste to the land of dolls." Haylee said in excitement. "Are you out of your mind?" "How can we go there. you have to be a magical doll to enter, according to celeste." "Ugg. I didn't think of that." "Can't she take us there." Haylee said. "I don't know." Katie said. "i can ask her. "Ok, lets do it." Haylee said.
the girls walked back to katie's room with smiles on their faces. "where did you go." Celeste asked. "you'll see. why don't we go to your home for christmas." Katie said. "I don't know. Humans aren't allowed inthe land of dolls. The only human allowed there is Shawnalee." celeste explained. "Please take us?" Haylee asked. "It will make us all happy." Katie said. "Ok," celeste said reluctantly.

"lets go to the middle of the room." Celest began. "Lets hold hands. Lets imagine, the land of dolls." Celeste said. The girls thought long and hard about what the land was like. "Ok," celeste said. "Hold hands and don't let go. Keep still, we're about to move." And so they did. they lifted off the ground and flew higher and higher. They flew high above the tree tops. "Hold on." Celeste said. "It will be a little while before will get there." As they flew Haylee looked in awe at the things she could see below. After a long flight, the girls were about to land.
They landed in a beautiful garden. As they walked through the garden, celeste looked at lovely place she called her home. "Welcome home." Said Haylee. "Thanks so much girls." "Coming home means a lot to me." Celeste smiled. "Lets go this way." Celest said. We're looking for a big metal gate.
The girls walked through the garden until they found the gate. But when they got to the gate, the girls were in for a surprise. 2 robots, who appeared to be guards, were standing on both sides of the gate. The male robot turned toward the girls and gave them a dirty look. "No humans are allowed inthe land of dolls." "get lost or I'll call my owner." The female robot said. "lighten up!" demanded celest. "They are here with me." Celeste shouted. "O it's you again." The robots said. "We thought you weren't coming home. come on through. Enjoy your time here in the land of dolls."
the land of dolls is a beautiful place. it looked like a little town. there were trees and flowers dotting the streets, and houses and buildings everywhere you looked. "This is my home!" said celeste happily. "I'm finally here." "Where is your house." said Katie. "I'll show you. Follow me. Just go down this street. My house is the last on the left." As they were walking, the girls asked celeste about where she lived. "How long have you lived here." said Haylee. "My whole life." Celeste explained. "I was made here long time ago." "we're here." Celeste said.
They arrived at a beautiful house. It was tall and painted pink. there were trees on both sides of the house. The girls climbed the stone steps that lead to the porch. Celeste opened the huge wooden door and lead the girls inside. they came to a large intrance. The floor by a bright green tile that sparkled in the light. This place is lovely! said Haylee. this is a magical house. it's big, so follow me. Celeste instructed.
They went into the living room. This is a large room. said Katie. It is. Celeste said. Come sit on the couch. This is a nice couch. said Haylee. There is something special about this couch. celeste said. just sit still for a moment. Celeste looked at the couch. Couch, lift off the ground. Celeste said in commanding tone. The couch lifted off the ground. It rose into the air. Your couch can fly! said Katie. I wish I had a couch like that. It's a nice one. Let me show you the kitchen. Celeste said. couch, land. Celeste commanded. And so it did. lets go to the kitchen. I have things to show you there.
the girls went into a spacious kitchen. It was just like any other kitchen with food and appliences everywhere. I want some tea. Haylee said. Let me see what I can do about that. Celeste turned and looked at a little tea pot. Little pot, come on and make some tea. Celeste said, just like she did with the couch. And so it did. The pot started boiling the tea. before too long, the tea was done. Little pot, stop. celeste said. It stopped, just as expected. Celeste brought the pot to the table and poured the girls a glass of tea. As they drank tea, they talked about the house and celeste's native land. After the girls were done, celeste put up the dishes and left the kitchen.
The girls followed celeste up the stairs and down the hall to the bedroom. The bedroom was big, just like the other rooms in the house. The girls found the bed. It was tall and large. This is my bed. Celeste said. This is no ordinary bed. it can do lots of things. it can fly, and even travel through time. Can we try it out. said Katie. Now's not the time. It's getting late. Your parents will be waking up soon. Lets go back to the porch. celeste said. We've got to be going.
The girls left the house and walked down the street to the entrance to the land of dolls. But when they got to the entrance, they were in for a terrible surprise. The robot guards, the same ones that greeted celeste and the girls, were standing there. They were not very happy. The female robot turned to the girls and said, We said you could come to the land of dolls. We also lied. Humans are still not allowed. Since you disobeyed orders and came anyway, you will be placed in confinement. you will never be able to leave the land of dolls, ever again. Before the girls knew it they were being stunned by the robots and locked up in a small room. What are we going to do? Said Haylee. We have to go home. The girls thought about how they would escape.
Little did they know, celeste was talking to the robots and trying to reason with them. The bots came into the small room with Celeste. Celeste shaken with fear, explained to the girls what they needed to do. Girls, do exactly what the bot wilittle tell you to do. If you don't do it right, you won't see your home again. Can't you fly us out? Haylee asked. I wish I could, but these cells are magic proof. Ok. the bot began. I have a little test for you. If you pass, you may leave here and take your little friend with you. If you fail, you know what happens. What shall we do. said katie. Here's what I want from you both. I want you to tell me 5 words you can think of that start with the letter c. Also, i want you to hop on one foot while doing it. You have 10 seconds. G. the girls started nameing off all the words they could think of. When it came to the last word,the girls were stuck. time is running out. said the bot. Then, something came to the girls. Celeste's name starts with c.
You passed after all. said the bot. You may leave this land. Just do one thing. Don't come back. We understand, said celeste. The room doors opened. The girls stepped outside. Are you ready to fly? asked celeste. We sure are. said Haylee. the girls held hands and flew high in the sky. They finally made it home. when they got inside, they were lucky to find that mom and dad were still asleep.
The girls went back to Katie's room as nothing ever happened. The girls held celeste close. Thanks for such a lovely day. said Katie. No, thank you. said celeste. I'm glad to see home again, but it's a shame the robot guards were so mean. I love you girls and I will never let anything happen to you. Mary christmas, celeste. said Haylee. Mary christmas, my lovely girls. said celeste.
